I have Bob's console. Looks great. I removed the tan shift bezel.
Because I have 5/8" of insulation under the carpet I had to put a spacer
under the Gear Selector cover assembly. Unfortunately this rises the
Gear shift selector gate just enough so that I can't put the car in gear
1 if I wanted.

If I didn't have the insulation under the carpet, everything looks like
it would fit perfectly.

Subject: Bob Hoffman's Console

Has anyone installed Bob's console in their Bricklin??? I am wondering
if
the tan plastic bezel under the shifter is kept in place or if it is
removed. The shift mechanism does not seem to fit right without it. Is

there a modification needed?? If the bezel is kept in place, I'm
wondering
how the carpet will look when put over it so you don't see a piece of
brown
plastic coming out from under the console. I've tried reaching Bob
today
with no luck - I guess he could be at the meet.

Input from anyone with experience would be a help.

Thanks
