ignition wire holders

Has anyone with a 74 replaced the ignition wire (spark plug wire) holders to 
accommodate a 8mm or 9mm wire??  If so, were you able to find some that fit 
on the original locations (valve covers, bracket mounted on thermostat 
housing, coil bracket)??  I think George Malaska said that he used the Accel 
8.8 wires.  I would be interested to hear what others have done and where 
they got their wire holders.
