oil dipstick tube

Has anyone recently had to replace the dipstick tube on a 75?  The ford
dealership tells me they can't get get the part.  According to the Ford
Truck catalog the part #s for 351W are;
Dip stick indicator D5U2-6750-A
for the tube D5U2-6754-A

Anyone know of a cross reference?  Has anyone had any success making one
them self?
