Thanks for the info Rick . My vote is with the lightweight hydraulic oil AW32
or lower, e.g hydraulic jack oil. ATF seems to degrade some types of rubber
also. People were putting ATF down the intakes to decarbonize rotary engines,
but then switched to MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil) after finding adverse effects
on the rubber seals.
