Unless you drain the converter you need that much. I don't know if the FMX
has a plug to drain the converter. The converter usually hold 3-4 quarts.
 If you do drain the converter, you must  put the trans in d then r a couple
of dozen times once you restart the car  to pump the converter full. check
the fluid several times as the level will fluctuate over the next couple of
times you drive as all the air gets worked out.
