Beware of those "Instant" Oil Changes.
I took my Brick to Valvolene Instant Oil Change and while there I asked to have
my radiator flushed. After which, I drove on the highway to get the "Juices
Flowing" and the engine temp quickly rose to 250!
I ended up stopping at a rest area to let the car cool down in the shade. After
about 30 mins I checked the temp and it was down to 210. I opened the radiator
cap and to my surprise, it didn't bubble over.The morons at Valvolene were in a
hurry and didn't fill the system completely up. To my amazement, it took a
little over a gallon of water to fill the radiator (Engine running) to the top.
I started back on the highway and the temp slowly dropped to 190 and stayed
there until I got home. Beware of incompetence!
