winter storage and mice

has any body on the list tried or know someone that has tried one of those
'ultrasonic' mouse deterrent gadgets or know of a good way to keep those
pesky mice out of your car. Please don't tell me to use mothballs or
naphthalene as they smell worse than mouse urine and the smell is harder to
get rid of.
