John,

I use a set of crutches I got at a thrift store. They work absolutely
perfect!!! The rubber on the top and bottom keep it in place.

TT uses old broken pool cues against the bottom lip, but then he owns a pool
hall, so I'm sure a 2x4 will work just as well.
