Heater hose routing

On my 75 (2028) the underhood appears stock, still has 2bbl, factory
breather, etc. the top heater hose (larger) goes from the water pump to the
heater core. It has a T fitting in it that has a 3/8 hose that runs around
on  the intake to a fitting with a vacuum switch on the left rear corner.
 the lower hose has the control valve on it ( close to the fire wall) then
runs to the front right of the intake. Both hoses just flop over the rocker
cover and do not attach any where. There is a wire harness that does clamp
to the inner fender in a place that one might expect to find the hoses
clamped to
