I have both the vacuums and electrical pump. I have the electrical pump on a
switch inside the car and if for any reason my air gets low ( opening and
closing without running the car) I can always flip the switch and fill up my
tanks with the electrical pump. ( I also have a switch to the electrical
pump under the back bumper for emergencies.if for any reason I loose all my
air and can't open the door easily, they are heavy....It has come in handy)
So you may want to install both even if you use the electrical for a back up
as I have.
