I don't have any idea, but one name I've heard pretty often in conjunction
with VDO gauge sourcing & repair is North Hollywood Speedometer. They're on
the web at www.nhspeedometer.com, or you can call them at (818)761-5136.
I can't vouch for them myself, but as far as I can tell, in the Porsche
world these guys are considered _the_ source for all things VDO.
