     Subject: Greetings

Hi all

I'm new to this list so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is
Larry, and I own Bricklin #1819, Safety Orange. I bought it in Manchester,
NH, in 1990 from a vintage Corvette and muscle car dealer. The car had 1200
miles on it at the time, and according to the salesman it had never been
registered. I've had the doors switched over to air by Terry Tanner, and
other than a cassette stereo, an inexpensive alarm, and an LED third brake
light (in keeping with the safety image) the car is 100% stock.
Now for questions. Lately when ever I start the car the headlights will
pop up and then close. I assume that the headlights are actuated by vacuum
and there's a leak in the system. Where do I start looking?
Also, I've seen a few Bricklins with louvers on the rear window. Are these
Bricklin louvers, or are they made for another car and happen to fit the SV1?
How much should I expect to give for a set? I have an expensive amp and
speakers in the rear, and state law in Maine won't let me put dark window
tint in on. I want to keep prying eyes out.

Thanks for all of your help
    BrikSV1 aka Larry Turbide
