OK=2C people=2C I know that there has got to be many of you who=2C like Jil=
l & I=2C were not able to go on the drive last Sunday. Well=2C here is you=
r opportunity to get your LBC out one more time=2C while the weather is sti=
ll conducive to top down driving. And for those who went last Sunday=2C we=
ll=2C here is another chance for you=2C also.
Saturday is supposed to be sunny with high temps in the mid to high 60's. =
Perfect LBC conditions.
We will meet at the Flying J station in SLC at 900 West and 2100 South at 1=
0:30AM for a 10:45AM departure.
As for the route=2C we will head west on U-201=2C then North on I-215 and u=
p Legacy Hwy to US 89 =0A=
(AKA the Mountain Rd)=2C continuing North past the mouth of Weber Canyon t=
o Harrison Blvd in Ogden. North on Harrison to Ogden Canyon. We will have=
a short stop at the mouth of Ogden Canyon at Rainbow Gardens=2C to pick up=
people from the north and have a restroom break. Then East up =0A=
Ogden Canyon=2C to Trappers Loop Rd=2C South on Trappers Loop (U-167) to =
the road that runs along =0A=
side I-84. East on that road to Morgan. Hop on I-84 for the short run =0A=
to the Taggart exit( #108) and lunch. =20
I know that 's where the club had lunch last week=2C but I also heard=2C th=
at many people wanted to go back. Those of us who missed it=2C want the ex=
perience=2C too! :-) Great hamburgers!!!!
After lunch=2C we will continue East on=0A=
I-84 to Henefer and then South on U-65=2C going past East Canyon Res and =
=0A=
heading up East Canyon. At the Emigration Jct people could choose =0A=
whether to go down Parley's Canyon or turn right and take Emigration Canyon=
=2C to the Salt =0A=
Lake valley.
This route would hopefully change last Sunday's route enough=2C that those =
participants may want to take =0A=
another drive.
So=2C there you have it. Another beautiful day for cruisin' in our LBCs th=
rough fantastic scenery.
