Hello autocrossers,
The Francavilla event chair team did it again by managing a fun and smoothly
run event at Monster Park this past weekend. For the third event in a row,
Charlie Davis designed the course, this time presenting a nice mix of smaller
technical turns with an immense sweeper and long slalom. Thank you all.
To the relief of many, we will not be revisiting Monster Park during this
series. Our next event venue is friendly to all cars, with and without low
clearances and stiff suspensions, and will be held at the Oakland coliseum.
This event will be on July 23 and will be chaired by Arnold Escano, Joey Delos
Trinos, and Tito Solis. The course designer has not yet been announced. Please
respond to their request for setup workers so the event can begin on time.
Our sister chapter in Sacramento is hosting another double header this coming
weekend in Stockton. Check the club website for details.
