I am taking the liberty of re posting this message.
Hi all,
We need about ten early birds to help set-up this Sunday's event at
Oakland.
Current weather forecast for Sunday calls for nice weather; clear and
about 59 degrees.
We need setup workers to get this event off to a smooth start. Anyone
who is willing to show up at 7:00AM Sunday to help us unpack the
motorhome and setup the course and grid will be greatly appreciated.
Please shoot me an e-mail or reply to this thread to let me know that
you plan to be there.
Those who have worked set-up in the past know the deep personal
satisfaction and smug sense of superiority that comes with rising
early and selflessly serving others. The more tangible perks that
come with the set-up job are:
-Donuts and coffee. (indicate donut preferences in your response and
well strive to provide accordingly!)
-You get a first look at the course and maybe even some input to the
course design.
-Your work assignment is done early.
-First choice of parking.
-The appreciation of everybody at the event.
