Maybe he was just trying to explain, in the best terms he could, why
SFR's attendance has dropped while other clubs' has not. "Serious"
represents someone who is willing to travel to events that are far
away or conflict with their personal schedule; "casual" represents
someone who only goes to convenient events. I really didn't see Navid
making a value judgement between those two -- that's the sort of
thing Vic would do :-)

But it sounds like the other clubs' autocrossers are just as casual as
ours, so Navid's hypothesis seems to be disproven.

Rich seems to be onto something with the "Street Tire" stats. Stock
seems to be dwindling for reasons I don't understand (hey, I'm doing
what I can, still in Stock for next year!), while the drivers of very
highly prepared cars in SP/SM/Prepared avoid Candlestick and GGF.

Rich, I'm curious about your street tire statistics. Are you
including all of the street touring and stock street tire classes in
your count? How do they break down individually in terms of trends in
just street touring or just stock street tire?
