I'm surprised there isn't an NOC catch-all for Peugeot. That's what
they usually do for manufacturers with a lot of models but a large
number of cars. Unfortunately in stock class there are very few
catch-alls, so by the letter of the law you would default to SS, unless
there is a FasTrack item from this year on that car (doubtful). But as
John says, that is ridiculous! What I would do is contact the person at
SCCA in charge of classing (used to be Howard Duncan, but someone else
took over, right? I forgot who...) and ask. What may happen then is
that someone will look into it and it may eventually show up in a
FasTrack.
Actually the contact info for classing (I think it is Doug Gill) is
here:
http://scca.org/amateur/solo2/classes/index.html
And the FasTracks are listed here:
http://www.scca.org/news/tech/seb/index.html
If you can't figure it out in the short term, I would consider running
STS or STX, although technically a Turbo over 2.0L is excluded from that
too. In general though, don't worry too much about it. Just come out
and enjoy yourself, run in HS or whatever. Welcome!
Peter
