New Miata

So my friend has moved on from his Mini dreams, and
now he says he wants a Miata. As is friend, I can only
encourage him to choose the best Miata for CS.

He wants to buy it brand new. So, what's the best
Miata to get for CS? And where's the best place in the
Bay Area to get a new Miata?
