Having been at the final Planning Commission meeting (along with John) I
tend to believe that PCA needs to tip-toe through at least the first couple
of these events.
There WILL be people out there that want to get everyone blackballed off
that site and the Planning gang gave them plenty to use as ammo, they want
them 50' from the water, 100 feet from the buildings, it was never stated
that the 45mph was average speed and I guarantee there are some "community
activists"  that will assert that it's supposed to be top speed, no more
than 100 cars and no more than 150 drivers.
If anyone has the time to go "work for free" by being an educated observer
teaching the crowd and helping assure they stay outside the event I think
the PCA would probably appreciate it and you might just help influence the
friend of a city councilperson!
