Hey, I've paid my dues and drove my share of crappy cars. I had a '71
"maro" (the "ca" fell off) when I was going to college. I used to call it
the swamp because when it rained, I would get 1/2 inch of standing water on
the floor. I work hard for my money and I spend every bit of it on my cars.
So, I'm not going to apologize to you or anybody else for driving a nice
car.

The e46 busted a power-steering hose. BMW tells me that's because of the
huge tires I put in front. They covered it anyway. Otherwise, my response
would have been: "quit making your cars understeer so much and I'll quit
putting bigger tires in front."
