I put vinyl numbers/letters on a clear static cling vinyl background. Never
lost a one of them, even at well over 100mph at Laguna Seca and Sears Point.
The clear background holds well because it has much more surface area than
just the numbers by themselves. The key is definitely to have clean numbers
and a clean car. I usually put mine on the night before with a bit of water.
