I saw Driven on Saturday night. I will say it is better
then Days of Thunder. But not by much.
The most ridicules scene is the scene where the driver
of one car crashes into a infield lake. To main character
decides to drive his racecar off the track and goes to
rescue this driver. The girlfriend of the other driver on the
track says, " someone's in trouble you have to help". He
drives his car off the track to the infield lake to help with
the rescue.
There is this dramatic scene with them trying to get the
driver out of the car in the lake. There is fuel leaking from
the car & a burning tree next to the lake, They are afraid
the burning tree will fall in the water & ignite the fuel
floating on the water.... Idiots, Cart uses methanol. It will
not float on water, Infect that is what they use to put out
fires with methanol. Then as they pull the driver from the
lake, The tree falls into the lake, It catches on fire, flashes
over to the car, The car explodes with the power of 20 dynamite
sticks, Complete with a mushroom cloud. Typical Hollywood
stuff.
