I'm not so sure. If you could order 15x7's on the front
and you could order 15x7's on the rear, then I think
you've met the letter of the rule whether you could
have done it with a single "normal" order or not.

My impression of Porsche's options is that you can have
any combination (or color of stitching!) you want if you're willing to pay their
hefty special order fee. I've ordered "special" combinations of options from
Honda and Chrysler (neither for autox purposes). Many standard packages of
options can be broken apart with a special order and a
phone call to the factory. I'd put the burden on the
protester to prove you couldn't have ordered four 15x7's
from the factory and had the car shipped to the dealer with them fitted if you
could prove they were separately orderable.

I'd also have a private giggle at anyone protesting
someone putting wheels narrower than standard on
an axle.

OTH, putting 8.5's only orderable for the rear all
the way around would be a no-no.
