I didn't expect to hear about this one 24 or so years later. I know
nothing
about it's potential whereabouts, but I remember it vividly from its
early days.
I was instructing at a SCAT school in 1977 (most likely, could have been
'78)
this car and the drivers Rich and Susan (?) were assigned to me. I think
it
was one of it's first appearances, and it was unfinished in most
respects.
It was fairly punchy though and showed some promise. It's day was cut
short
on perhaps it's 3rd run of the morning because it was bicycling very
obviously,
though we weren't to aware of it in the car. It was a Fiat Multipla,
sort of a
stretch 600/minivan/transport. There would never be enough room for a
Corvair
mid-engine in a 600 sedan.
