The IS-300's at GGF had either Goodyear GS-D's or
Eagle F1's - the Eagles looked a lot more aggressive.
However, I thought I remembered hearing that they had
some super-sticky Bridgestone from the factory. I was
told that all of the test cars had LSD's.

I don't think the 328's had the sport package - looked
like they had 16" wheels.

IMHO, the IS-300 felt more like an E36 than an E46
(that's either a compliment or an insult, depends on
yout viewpoint).

The interior controls looked and felt really cheap, I
kept picking at the HVAC and ICE controls while
waiting to run, they looked like they were off a $5
Walkman ripoff.

As I drove home in my much more tastefully designed
BMW, I wondered who Lexus expects to buy this car. The
marketing/aesthetics seemed aimed at the Honda crowd.

The IS-300 brakes were outstanding, add a 6 speed and
it would be fast.

Craig (got busted after only 3 runs)
