It's been really cool reading about your computer histories. We've
come a long way in 20 years, huh?
Here's mine...not nearly as long.
Mid 80's: Some sort of IBM PC. Dot matrix printer, black monitor with
green text. We used to play some "choose your own adventure" game on
it...it was like reading a book.
1994: Apple Performa 6116 ( 60 MHz proc, 30 mhz bus, 700 mb HD. HUGE!
80 MB of RAM)
1997: Apple Powerbook 1400 (133/64MB RAM)
1998: Apple Blue and White G3 (350mHz/320 RAM)
1999: Powerbook G3 233
2003: 15" Titanium Powerbook G4, iPod, WiFi, and all the fun stuff.
(867/ 1G RAM) - Used for PHP/MySQL/Apache development, on OS X.
2004: G5 Powerbook, when it comes out...
Happy Holidays all...off to do some snowboarding!
