Re: Racing Article "Alternatives to Street Racing - A life-and-death
matter" by Debbie Murphy

"As a 25 year old Mississippi Region Member of the Sports Car Club of
America (SCCA), I would like to point out that SCCA Solo II autocrosses
attract younger people with all types of cars, in addition to the older
people with Porsches and BMW's that you mention. Autocrossing helps teach
advanced driving skills, and many people have avoided accidents giving
tribute to their skills learned while autocrossing. If anything, our new
drivers should learn car control before drag racing."
