Okay folks, it is official. The Paypal is open for the Driver AT Nationals
(DAN), i.e. Tasha's Repair Subsidy Program. I was asked to hold off on this
until confirmation. I also know the owners of the cars involved would like
a swift and amicable resolve to this.
I have asked for donations before for the Driver To Nationals, and many
have responded so generously over the years, and even recently with Crider
and Cone needing help at the last minute. But this time I encourage ALL of
you to dig deep and with your heart to help out. After all that Tasha has
expended for our sport it is the least we can do to help her at this time.
Someone posted $5.00 from each of us on the various lists (please forward
on to the lists that I am not on [or they won't LET me on!] ), and we could
really defray the costs of the repairs. I know a few of you have tight
budgets so that $5.00 would be the max (heck, we'll take a dollar if that
is all that can be done), but I know some of us can afford a bit more than
the $5.00, myself included. You can list a contribution as anonymous and I
will keep it as such (but Paypal will display a name).
So enough begging from me for now, but the beg-a-thon will continue. I know
us Solo 2 enthusiasts can make a difference. So rally 'round the flag.
