I would like to buy an inexpensive, maybe HS / STS solo 2 car, emphasis on
cheap (< $2K) for my wife to learn to autocross. She has shown some
interest in driving lately but is afraid of our Z06. The car's must be
safe, easy to maintain, easy to drive, and inexpensive. A bonus would be a
car that could double as a tire hauler for our Z06's race tires for local
events.
I am thinking about a VW Golf or something similar? Any other ideas?
