Yep, those cars are relatively well known here.  Especially the Radical, which
is quite popular.  However, they don't seem like cars that you would buy to
drive in the city 5 days a week and race during the weekends.  IMO they're more
like street legal race cars than race-ready sports cars.

There are several reasons why we're going with a monocoque instead of a
spaceframe.  They include safety, rigidity, hi-tech feel, and its uniqueness. 
Plus, a couple guys working on our car are also engineers of the Koenigsegg
supercar, which uses a similar style monocoque.  Using their experiences in
design and crash tests of the monocoque, we can design something at least as
refined.
