If you are registered for the prosolo finale, or compete in prosolo, be
advised that there has been a new rule instituted for who will be allowed to
run in the finale, whether or not you have already registered. This is what at
first appears to be a "simple" solution to people being closed out of the
event, but IMHO it creates a lot more problems than it solves. I also do not
feel it is right to change the rules 1/2 way through the season. Using the
point system to determine eligibility is using an already flawed system to
"fix" another flawed system.
I was told by Tasha that she "doesn't have time to read emails or discussion
forums ... and that unless people call her directly to complain" she doesn't
see any problem with it.
If you are one of the many who may be closed out do to geographic disparities,
bonus points, a co-driver/carowner with one driver more skilled than the
other, a husband- wife team, someone who didn't finish well in events already
run due to weather, mechanical problems, sorting out new car who would not
have run those events if it meant not getting into the finale, I urge you to
pick up the phone NOW and call Tasha directly @ 1-800-770-2055.
