PRO Points Example?

I think this example is messed up:
                Position    Class   Driver  Time    
                        1   T1         Driver 1 51.0    
                        2   T1         Driver 2 51.5    
                        3   T2         Driver 1 50.0    
                        4   T2         Driver 2 50.1    
    

It would make more sense if Driver 2 in Class T1 would be positioned 4th as 
he had the largest margin put on him, and position's 3 and 4 moved to 2 and 
3?
