I ran into the same results -- had a set of the 50Hs as street tires, and
found they were pretty good autocross tires, too. The HTR200s that replaced
them have more flexible sidewalls -- only one ply, instead of two -- and
seem to have a harder compound as well. I've no complaints with them as
street tires, but they're absolute crap on course.
