I agree also. The rule book is already way too thick. You simply cannot
equalize everything about our sport. Live with it and have a good time.

I also like item #3 for "national" events only; simple, easy to
implement,
makes sense.

IMHO, the fix is simply to scale back the 30 minutes to 10 minutes and
otherwise leave it be.

I LIKE that one! It would tend to equalize the 2-driver effect to some
degree while still permitting the fun of sharing a car.
