Event #2 of the 2002 Evolution SEDiv Solo2 Series will be hosted by the SCCA
Central Florida Region on June 22 & 23 at the Gainesville Raceway in
Gainesville, FL. The site area is a 1.6 mile asphalt driver training &
vehicle testing road course. Slaloms and other cone maneuvers will be
strategically placed to maintain the Solo2 speed and safety requirements as
specified by the SCCA National Solo rulebook. The paddock area is not paved,
be sure to bring jacking boards, etc. as needed.
Lunch will be provided free on both days to all competitors compliments of
the hostess with the mostess; Jean Kinser-Dana of Evolution Performance
Driving Schools fame. Returning by popular demand will be the GCAC Gourmet
Cuisine Grille. An Evolution School entry will also be raffled off at the
Drivers Meeting, who will be the lucky winner? If you don't buy a raffle
ticket then there's a 100% chance it won't be you! Please note that the
Friday evening activities; Registration, Tech, and Welcome Party, will take
place at the Best Western event hotel located at I-75 Exit 77. Online

Additionally, the 2002 SEDiv Rookie Challenge program has been revised with a
new points system to improve competition for the year-end Rookie
Championship. The Rookie Challenge event winner will receive 100 points for
first place with the other Rookie finishers receiving points based on the
percentage difference between their finishing Pax time and the winning Pax
time. Event trophies will be awarded to the top three Rookie Challenge
finishing positions regardless of the number of entries. Please see the

We may have to impose an entry limit on this event so don't delay, register
online today!
NOTE: the online registration form does not automatically update the entry
list. Until further notice, the entry list will be updated manually on a
"when we get to it" basis. Please be patient and check the revision date
located at the bottom of the page before making an inquiry. DO NOT register
online more than once per event, we already have enough work to do without
spending our evenings deleting multiple entries. Thanks.
