Rust, Rust EVERYWHERE! My dad had one new. He bought his about the same time
I bought my 83 5.0 Mustang Convertible. By 89, he had it in the shop getting
the turbo replaced at about 70k miles. While it was on the rack in the shop,
he walked underneath it. After discovering all the rust was about to let the
frame fold in half, he decided to immediately sell the car. Meanwhile, mine
had the same 70k on it, and had only been in the shop to get the windows
adjusted. Weird! All my foreign car have been way more reliable than my 2
different mustangs.
