Sorry for the cross post.
I have just accepted a job in Charlotte, NC, (Huntersville specifically)
and will be starting down there in January. I was just wondering if I
could get some info on autox clubs down there. I have heard of CCR (I
think) but I don't know if there are others. I have been autoxing with
Triad some and will probably continue to do that as time allows, but my job
will be taking a lot of time so I won't have much time for a lot of travel.
I am hoping there are some very close I won't have to drive far to.
I am looking forward to meeting people down there!
On another note, does anyone have any good recommendations on books for
race car engine design/engineering? I am going to need to learn a lot
about engines so I thought ya'll might be a good set of people to ask for
advice. I will be specifically working with large carbeurated V8s.
I will also need to learn about chassis setup, etc., eventually, so books
about that would be nice too.
