A HOT time (weather and competition) was had by all at Forbes Field,
Topeka, KS
this past weekend. With the temperature hovering close to 100 degrees and the
heat index much higher, the hot weekend took its' toll on workers, drivers,
vehicles and ICE.
Much thanks to Marla and Lonnie Worthington, Hospitality Chiefs, for their
diligence keeping all the H2O coolers full during the weekend. They were life
savers! Also our thanks for the great hospitality Friday evening, the yummy
Saturday evening dinner, and great door prizes.
Chairs Ron & Tina Williams along with their cohorts provided a fitting
conclusion to the 2001 Solotime Series. Hats off for a job well done!
