At the San Diego tour, the winner of Formula Jr. had a Kawasaki CRG kart.  I 
assumed that it was a shifter.  Also, there was Rotomax Max kart (not a 
shifter, but I think the Rotax is 28 hp) at the Mass. tour.  I wasn't at 
either tour, so I really don't know.
