Dale Earnhardt was killed today in the final lap and final turn of the
Daytona 500
race. Dale was in 3rd place on the final lap of the race. He was preparing
his famous move to the front in which he rotates the rear of the vehicle
sharply and captures the inside line. Unfortunately his vehicle got loose and
it rotated into the outside wall...
Dale Earnhardt was a real genious, for those of you who follow NASCAR he was
a drivers driver, he was able to do the things on thetrack that most people
in the sport just dream of...
Ironically I witnessed Dale's first Daytona win in 1998 and today i witnessed
his last race....
For Dale it was a major victory Both his #15 car and his #8 car drivenby his
son finished 1 and 2
