3M makes a liquid called "General Purpose Cleaner & Adhesive Remover". I
think the 3M number is #09678 (don't quote me on that, the stuff is in the
shed at home). It does a killer job of removing the glue and goo. Keep it
away from anything plastic, as it will kind of melt things. It dulled a
plastic molding on a MR2 I used to have. Test it on an unseen surface if you
are unsure. But, it is great on painted surfaces such as automotive body
panels.

Subject: Adhesive removal question
I have some dried-on adhesive gung from a SCCA Solo Events sticker on my
car.
Best recommendations on removing it at this late date?
