Here's some really sad news. I don't know how many out there besides the
FMod (F500 specifically) drivers know about Howell Jones, but his loss
will be felt by many. He was President of 2-Stroke International, the
manufacturer of the AMW engines many F500 drivers use. He was always
willing to help answer questions, provide support, and was a great
advocate for motorsports. He will be missed.

Dear Friends,
It is with the greatest sorrow I have ever felt that I have to tell you
folks that Howell Jones was killed this weekend in a racing incident.
Howell was in Atlanta this weekend racing 3/4 midget racecars at a 3/8
mile race track. He had called us because they had a second car and
wondered if Rusty would like to come out and drive it. We had other
things planned and suggested that he call Scott Woodruff. Scott called
us this evening to tell us that Howell had a crash and did not survive.
As soon as I know more I will let you all know.
