He was booted for an illegal carb.
This was very much expected, and done to get a rulling. I think it is still
under apeal to get the clarification. The "rule" allows any single 2 barrel
carb. Ricardo built his own carb that is as wide as the Vee engine so it has
a throttle right over each pair of cylinders. It only has one float bowl and
comes off the car as one part. It is a stretch of the rule to find where the
limit is.
His car is the FML champ, and it ran all FML runs with a normal single carb.
Dawn Odoi drove his car very well and had the quick time on both courses.
