To the best of my knowledge the Oregon Rally Group that runs the SCCA 
rallycross events here does not allow any open top cars, and that includes 
the CJ7.

You can ask on the message board there at http://www.oregonrally.com/ .

BTW - Rallycross is a blast (or at least it is in my wife's Subaru).
