If I remember right, they were about $1100 new in San Antonio.

It was pretty frail, but I used to drive mine on the Interstates every
day.  Handled just fine, though it could have used better brakes!! 
Sure glad nobody ever hit me, though!  If they had, I wouldn't be here
today to write about it!!!  8<{)
