Thanks for all the replies folks. Most of you advised against the 1500 series Suburban for towing a large trailer, and I appreciate all the input. The 2500 would work, but those are hard to find without going to 4WD, and since it needs to be a daily driver, I need to stick with something that will deliver decent fuel economy when not towing. Looks like I may have an extended cab pickup in my future, possibly a diesel...Not nearly as nice as a Suburban... Phil Osborne |
