Hi team.net,
First off, I ended up in Washington D.C. over the weekend and
was able to run in the Lotus Autox event this last weekend. I just wanted
to thank a few people for the great time. Even thou the event had me
listed as #18 on the waiting list, It seems that being there ready to
go gets you into the race <grin>.
Thanks to the people in registration. You were really patient with
me and helped get me squared on what to do. Also thanks to your local BFG
truck for suppling the air to pump those tires!
Big thanks to Jamie Sculerati and his son Sam. Jamie helped get
me to the site (I never ventured north of the beltway even when I lived
in Virginia). Jamie is already training Sam as a pit crew member but I
have real feeling that Sam will one day be driving the car just as well
as his dad does.
Great event. Unusual gridding (but it works!).
