Much of the above I agree with, but as a support vehicle, I find
the van to be far more convenient to access the stuff I haul.
Primarily the lower load floor makes stuff easier to load, reach
and unload.  Also can build storage boxes more easily in the van
insides.  I've been using the same 3/4 ton Chevy for 15 years now
(P.S. its for sale) and replaced it with another van, not a
'Burban.
