Perhaps regions could allow retreads for regional events, as they would have
a handle on what companies do a good job, and only approve those tires from
those companies.
    Unless, of course, there's something in the insurance coverage that
disallows retreads of any kind. Having never seen that document, I don't have
a clue.
    Then, for Tours, Divisionals (maybe), and Pros, and Nationals, of course,
they would not be allowed. I wonder if any companies are now manufacturing
sticky retreads...not an area I've explored in many, many years.
