Heyward
I rebuilt a couple of 1 gen Civic motors about 15 years ago, one of them in my
living room! The were pretty straight forward except Honda is pretty finicky
about bearing tolerances. They had 4 or 5 different bearing thicknesses to
accomodate the manufacturing tolerances when the block was line bored at the
factory. As i recall Honda had a color code system in which each color
designated a different thickness. I have no idea what Honda is doing on their
current motors.
PS
I still have a 78 Civic that I need to sell cheap!

Any one know exactly how hard it is to rebuild a civic si engine at home?
Something tells me Bob Veila hasn't published this one yet....
